This class is repeated in Session 7: Often a director has good theory skills but is not someone who arranges barbershop music. Then when you find a chart that you and the chorus really like, there are some challenging spots (a tricky key change, some notes too high or too low for the group to sing well, overly complicated rhythms, etc) and you need to enlist the help of an arranger to make these minor edits. This class will examine what you would need to consider in order to confidently make changes like these yourself, thereby opening up more possibilities for the chorus and less time spent on those few bars in the original chart that the chorus really struggles with.
