Anytime people work together in a collective capacity, conflicts will emerge. People are different, simply put, and the more opinionated and outspoken individuals are, potential for conflict increases. The temptation is to view conflict negatively and damaging and, thus, avoid it at all costs. Dealing effectively with conflict, however, holds great potential for improving the organization and relationships among its members.
